Clinic Overview

Advance Hearing Aid And Cochlear Implant Center

In our clinical practicum, we have experience in addressing a wide range of speech, language, and hearing disorders across patients of all age groups. Our expertise includes the following areas:

Audiological Services:

  1. Conducting hearing acuity assessments in patients of all ages using various techniques such as Pure Tone Audiometry, Immittance Audiometry, Behavior Observation Audiometry, Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry, Steady State Evoked Potentials (SSEP), Optoacoustic Emissions, and correlating test results.
  2. Administering and interpreting audiological diagnostic procedures, including SISI, STAT, ABLB, and special tests with Immittance Audiometry, for conditions like Pseudohypacusis and Central Auditory Dysfunction (CAD).
  3. Evaluating candidacy for Cochlear Implants and providing post-operative rehabilitation services, including mapping and intensive auditory training for children with cochlear implants.
  4. Implementing infant hearing screening programs, which involve conducting high-risk register OAEs and other methods to detect hearing loss.
  5. Assessing and rehabilitating clients with auditory processing disorders, hyperacusis, and tinnitus using standardized tests and therapeutic techniques.
  6. Offering counseling to individuals on preventing and managing auditory impairments.
  7. Prescribing suitable hearing aids and assistive listening devices through subjective and objective procedures, which may include measures like insertion gain.
  8. Conducting auditory training programs for hearing aid users, including auditory verbal therapy, speech reading training, communication strategies training, and assertiveness training.
  9. Crafting and modifying ear molds to achieve desired acoustic variations.
  10. Measuring the electroacoustic characteristics of hearing aids and contributing to hearing conservation programs in various settings, including the measurement of environmental noise.

Speech Language Pathology Services:

  1. Diagnosing and assessing various speech and language disorders across patients of all age groups to determine their nature and severity.
  2. Administering a wide range of speech and language tests, using both subjective and objective methods, which may involve analog, digital, and computer-based instruments.
  3. Providing counseling to patients and their families, explaining the nature, causes, and management options for their speech-language difficulties.
  4. Offering speech-language therapy to individuals of all ages dealing with voice issues, articulation problems, fluency disorders, and other speech and language challenges. These disorders may be associated with conditions such as delayed speech and language, hearing loss, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, autism, stuttering, cluttering, cleft palate, misarticulation, aphasia, laryngectomy, specific learning disabilities (dyslexia), dysarthrias, voice disorders, and more.
